The Swansea Telecare Service
Telecare Choice is a personal alarm service which works to help and support the elderly and in need people of Swansea.
The alarm service features an alarm base unit and red button which is used to alert our monitoring centre in the users time of need. The red button is worn by the user either around the neck or on the wrist and when activated, it triggers a call through the alarm base unit.
The call goes through to our highly trained, UK based monitoring team who assess the users situation and arrange for help in the form of the users emergency contacts. These emergency contacts can be friends, family, neighbours or the emergency services.

Keysafes
Keysafes work extremely well alongside the Telecare Alarm as they offer emergency contacts and the emergency services a quick and efficient way to enter the users property without causing any damage. It also means that spare keys are locked away securely, rather than having to be left under a doormat.
A Keysafe is a small metal box which can be attached the exterior of a property. The Keysafe is used to house spare keys which can then be accessed via a secure code.
Telecare Smoke Detector
The Telecare Smoke Detector is a regular high-quality smoke alarm which also has an additional feature of being linked to our 24 hour monitoring centre via the personal alarm.
If the Smoke Detector is activated, a call will be sent through to our monitoring centre and the team will react as they would if the pendant is pushed.
The team will then contact the emergency services for the user if they are required.

Telecare Choice offer two simple price plans to ensure that you can get your personal alarm up and running as soon as possible.
Of course, both of our price plans come with free 24-hour delivery so that you can have your new alarm and pendant installed sooner, rather than later.
Once installed the alarm user will be covered by our 24-hour Monitoring Team. Should they need help, day or night, all they need to do is simply push the Telecare pendant and a member of the team will respond within seconds.
The Monitoring Team will then take appropriate action to ensure the user gets help - whether this is contacting a relative or the emergency services. Ensure help can gain access to the property with a Keysafe.
