Telecare Choice is a personal alarm service supporting people across Scotland. The Telecare Alarm conists of a base unit and red alarm pendant (also known as the MyAmie Pendant). It's easy to use, simple to set up and perfect for those in later life.
The elderly, frail and disabled people of Scotland can expect 24/7 support, 365 days a year. Telecare Choice knows how important it is to feel safe and secure in your own home, and that's why our personal alarm is specifically designed to assist if a user is feeling unwell, has a fall or is in an emergency situation.
How Does it Work?

People in Scotland can expect a fast an efficient Telecare Service. The alarm works in the following way:
A user needs help, they press their red button and trigger an alarm call.
The alarm call goes through to our highly trained monitoring centre who assess the situation and speak to the user through the built-in microphone and loudspeaker.
The monitoring centre arranges help in the form of family, friends, neighbours or the emergency services.
Telecare Scotland Accessories
Although the Telecare alarm functions on its own, there are some accessories which can be bought alongside the alarm package.
Telecare Accessories include a range of Keysafes, and the Telecare Smoke Detector. The Smoke Detector is not unlike a regular high quality smoke detector, but it does have some additional features which make it superior.
The Telecare Smoke Detector can be linked to our 24-hour monitoring centre much like the alarm itself. If the detector is triggered, a call will be sent through to the monitoring team who will arrange for the emergency services to attend the property.

Telecare Choice offer two simple price plans to ensure that you can get your personal alarm up and running as soon as possible.
Of course, both of our price plans come with free 24-hour delivery so that you can have your new alarm and pendant installed sooner, rather than later.
Once installed the alarm user will be covered by our 24-hour Monitoring Team. Should they need help, day or night, all they need to do is simply push the Telecare pendant and a member of the team will respond within seconds.
The Monitoring Team will then take appropriate action to ensure the user gets help - whether this is contacting a relative or the emergency services. Ensure help can gain access to the property with a Keysafe.
