Simplicity is at the heart of the Telecare Personal Alarm system. It's a plug-and-play device which can be installed and set-up within a few short moments. Each alarm is pre-programmed by Telecare Choice before it's dispatched.
Speed is equally as important. All the alarm user needs to do should they require assistance is press the red button on a pendant around their wrist or neck. Within seconds a member of the Telecare monitoring team will respond, assess and arrange for help. This is done through family and friends, as well as the emergency services.

Personal Alarm - Pendant Button
The alarm user can wear their pendant around their wrist or neck. Both attachments are included.
The pendant button is waterproof, which means the user can raise an alarm in the bath and shower.
A seven-year battery life means that the user doesn't need to worry about charging the pendant. A free replacement is sent when required by the user.
The pendant will connect to the personal home alarm throughout the house and garden. It has an impressive range of up to 100 metres. Each user will test this during set-up.
Personal Alarm - Features
Quick and easy installation. The personal alarm can be set-up within minutes by the user or a loved one. Each alarm is pre-programmed before delivery.
Two-way conversation. The base unit for the personal alarm has a loudspeaker, used by the monitoring team, and a built-in microphone, used by the alarm user.
24 Hour Monitoring - All Year Round
Alongside the easy-to-use personal alarm, our customers also receive 24-hour monitoring from out highly-trained, professional team.
They are available all year round and are on-hand to answer any alarm calls made by our users. To raise an alarm, all the user needs to do is press the red button on their pendant or base unit.
In this case, a member of the monitoring team will dial through to the personal alarm base unit and speak to the user via loudspeaker. The situation is assessed and help is found through family members, friends and/or neighbours. The emergency services are called if needed.
