What does the Telecare service include?
Our Telecare package will arrive in two easy-to-use parts; the alarm base unit and the wearable pendant device. Both parts have been developed using the latest industry technology and are very simple to understand. All alarm users will benefit from the following features:
24-Hour Monitoring Centre
All of our alarm users in Norwich, and across the country, and covered by our 24-hour monitoring centre. Our team work all day and through the night to ensure that alarm users always have somebody available to help them.
Our team have been trained to deal with a wide range of situations and will respond via the loudspeaker once a red pendant button has been pressed
The situation will be assessed, the alarm user reassured and help found by contacting friends, family or neighbours. The emergency services will also be called if needed.
Emergency Contacts
Friends, family and neighbours play an important part in the Telecare service. During the set-up process, all of our alarm users are asked to fill out a new customer form. This includes a section for nominated emergency contacts.
All alarm users need to have at least one emergency contact in order to join our service. The people selected should also live quite close to the alarm user.
In an emergency, these contacts will be called by the monitoring centre and asked to attend the alarm user's home urgently. Should one contact not answer, the next on the list will be called.

I felt so much better coming out of hospital to a Telecare button. I'd had my knee replaced and was vulnerable to falls. It made me feel safer.

For patients at high risk of falls, living independently at home can be a real struggle. Telecare alarms help give them that extra confidence by making sure help is always readily available.
Pricing Plans
Telecare Choice offer two simple price plans to ensure that you can get your personal alarm up and running as soon as possible.
Of course, both of our price plans come with free 24-hour delivery so that you can have your new alarm and pendant installed sooner, rather than later.
Once installed the alarm user will be covered by our 24-hour Monitoring Team. Should they need help, day or night, all they need to do is simply push the Telecare pendant and a member of the team will respond within seconds.
The Monitoring Team will then take appropriate action to ensure the user gets help - whether this is contacting a relative or the emergency services. Ensure help can gain access to the property with a Keysafe.
